About Me

Hey that’s me! ^

Whether you’re a familiar face from home, an aspiring DIS student, my mom or dad, or a curious stranger…hej and welcome to my blog!

To introduce myself, my name is Kyle Samson (he/him), and I’m originally from Lathrop, California. I’m a Junior at Franklin & Marshall College (F&M) located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, pursuing a double major in Psychology and Cognitive Science. When I have free time, I’m always eager to engage in activities that introduce me to new experiences. I enjoy board/video games, taking long walks, curating Spotify playlists, exploring the vast world of Reddit forums, cafe hunting, exploring new foods and cuisines, and meeting new people, all in pursuit of a grand quest to unravel the mysteries of the human experience.

But why Copenhagen in the Spring, a notoriously chilly season? Click here to learn more! But as I’ve learned, what truly sets DIS apart is its unique mix of courses and integrated travel program, elements that are often missing from other study abroad programs. If you’re considering studying abroad, I highly recommend DIS.

Courses for the Semester:
CyberPsychology & CyberPsychology Lab
– Psychology of Peak Performance
– Danish Language and Culture I
– Research Assistant —Self-Identity, Human Relations, and Well-Being Research Lab.

I will be traveling to Amsterdam during my week-long study tour as well as to Århus during my Core Course week—it says a laser tag tournament is on the agenda so stay tuned! I’m also living in the Culinary Living & Learning Community where every Tuesday, we meet to cook some traditional Danish cuisine!

But yeah, this is a short introduction to myself and I hope you find me interesting enough to check back every so often to see my crazy adventures. My posts will be a medley of words, images, and experiences, ranging from brief updates to in-depth tales, and from picturesque captures of my travels to heartwarming moments with friends. So, fasten your seatbelts for an exhilarating adventure through Copenhagen and beyond, with me as your guide. Enjoy the ride.

Tak!
